i will be posting reports as i receive them, heard fishing on the outside has been decent for halis and other bottom species out front of friendly cove, up esperenza way has also been producing salmon, hali, black bass and of all things this early, coho....will try to keep all posted on this site.. ...holmes*

Got out to Nootka about 10 days ago for our first Hali trip of the year. We found them in 160 ft. of water fishing with herring and jigs. Some ling and yellow eye rockfish to compliment the catch. Drift fishing at it's finest. The halibut weighed in at 65 and 40. We did try trolling for springs with no luck. Can't wait to get back get soon and get into the springs.
